Seating

I build more chairs than anything else. Fortunately, my spindle backs, with their curved elements and no right angles, are some of my favorite pieces to make. From turned or carved spindles, to hand scooped seats, every element of my chairs is wrought by hand. Using traditional joining techniques to ensure strength, these sculptural pieces are meant to be used as well as displayed.
